Ironically just finished episode 1 - got them all downloaded ready to watch but may not bother, thought it was a mess all over the place to be honest

Re: Gangs of London
The gangs of london is one of the most unrealistic depictions of gangs in london i have yet seen.

Thr bloke who plays the dead guvnors boy would last about 5 minutes in a public school in Chelmsford before being buggered by the son of a dead politician.

Whoever wrote it probably smoked a spliff joint once in Croydon and got caught and smacked on the bum by their dad for smoking a JPS they were holding for their wacky mate with white dreadlocks

Oh I dunno Alfie... the LGF had Charlie from casuality and that worked...

Re: Gangs of London
It's entertaining... the fight scenes especially

Re: Gangs of London
So we had Black gangs, Irish gangs, Albanian gangs all working together against who? The Adams family of north London and Hunt family formerly of Canning Town must have had a good laugh watching this bollocks. Sullivan probably believed it all though.

The title was enough to put me off!

Re: Gangs of London
Watched first two episodes last night. How can they not make this a great show? Awful from top to bottom apart from a few fight scenes.

The main actor from Peaky is shocking. Accent is what? Dead wood. I will watch the rest tonight due to having watched every other show.

Re: Gangs of London
pretty fucking shit really, as previously mentioned accents are shite acting is shite, fights are like something from the kingsmen, people saying it's the dogs bollocks, are missing something in the braincell department
ps I didn't like peaky blinders either
I like my crime family dramas with a bit of class, the sopranos or boardwalk empire for instance

Re: Gangs of London
Got 2 to go.... yeah it;s complete bullshit but it's highly entertaining... I think Guy Ritchie and Quentin T have inspired the fight scenes... have not been bored and taken it for what it is... review sums it up for me

10 episodes chim.... you can either believe the Guardian critic and me....or the rest of WHO... which as we all know is verging on the clinically insane

Does it feature any Muslim grooming gangs?

Re: Gangs of London
Well I managed to watch the whole series and thought is was fairly entertaining. I’ve seen much worse for sure

Re: Gangs of London
Anyone expecting a sliver of reality these days when everything is about fast pace and action, is deluded.

Entertainment is all there is the kids do not want reality because that would be too slow paced for their taste buds.

Watched Episode 1, didn't pull any trees up for me, will persevere with it though

Re: Gangs of London
It's fun, and Sold is right - the fight scenes are superb.

It's not supposed to be a detailed case study on London gangland, is it? There are plenty of shitty documentaries on that.

It's no Peaky Blinders though.
